For indoor or outdoor applications that require a sloped top and corrosion protection from chemicals and water, Concept™ enclosures feature streamlined styling with an attractive stroked finish and flush, stainless steel quarter-turn latches for secure closure. These enclosures are manufactured from 16 and 14 gauge Type 304 stainless steel and include a 20-degree sloped top to prevent pooling of liquids and accumulation of other debris. The minimum-width body flange provides maximum body opening, complemented by an external formed 90-degree body flange. Panel mounting studs are designed to fit optional Concept panels and other accessories, while mounting holes in the back of the body accommodate direct mounting or optional external mounting brackets. The hidden hinges made from Type 304 stainless steel promote a clean aesthetic appearance, with two hinges on models under 36 inches in height and three hinges for models 36 inches and taller. Corner-formed doors are interchangeable and can be easily removed by pulling clip-style hinge pins. The door also has provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket and for an optional door stop kit. Seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, and the enclosures are equipped with stainless steel quarter-turn latches that feature a flush slotted insert. Additional features include a seamless foam-in-place gasket, a self-grounding latch system with a double seal, bonding provision on the door, and a grounding stud on the body. The furnished hardware kit consists of panel-mounting nuts, panel-grounding hardware, and sealing washers for wall-mounting holes, along with installation instructions.
