The Hoffman CP556012 is a Concept™ HMI enclosure designed with black trim and classified as Type 4, measuring 555x600x120mm. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications that require a sloped top for effective drainage and protection against corrosion from chemicals and water. Manufactured from 16 and 14 gauge Type 304 stainless steel, this enclosure features a 20-degree sloped top to prevent pooling of liquids and debris accumulation. It incorporates an external formed 90-degree body flange to maximize the body opening and panel mounting studs that are compatible with optional Concept panels and accessories. The mounting holes located at the back allow for direct mounting or the use of optional external mounting brackets. Hidden hinges made of Type 304 stainless steel provide a clean aesthetic, with two hinges on models under 36 inches in height and three on taller models. The interchangeable corner-formed doors can be easily removed, and there is a provision on the door for a thermoplastic data pocket and an optional door stop kit. The seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, while the stainless steel quarter-turn latches include a flush slotted insert. Additional features include a seamless foam-in-place gasket, a self-grounding latch system with a double seal, bonding provisions on the door, and a grounding stud on the body. The furnished hardware kit contains panel-mounting nuts, panel-grounding hardware, and sealing washers for the wall-mounting holes. Installation instructions are also included.
