The Hoffman CP475012 Concept™ HMI enclosure features a black trim and is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, measuring 475x500x120mm. This Type 4 enclosure is ideal for environments that require a sloped top to prevent pooling of liquids and accumulation of debris, providing corrosion protection from chemicals and water. Constructed from 16 and 14 gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it includes a sleek stroked finish and flush, stainless steel quarter-turn latches for secure closure. The enclosure is equipped with a 20-degree sloped top, an external formed 90-degree body flange, and a minimum-width body flange that maximizes body opening. It has panel mounting studs compatible with optional Concept panels and other accessories, as well as mounting holes in the back for direct or external mounting. The hidden hinges promote a clean aesthetic, with two hinges for models under 36 inches in height and three hinges for taller models. Interchangeable corner-formed doors can be easily removed with clip-style hinge pins, and provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket and an optional door stop kit are included. The seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, and the enclosure features a seamless foam-in-place gasket, a self-grounding latch system with a double seal, a bonding provision on the door, and a grounding stud on the body. The hardware kit supplied consists of panel-mounting nuts, panel-grounding hardware, and sealing washers for wall-mounting holes, along with installation instructions.
