The Hoffman CP405012B Concept™ HMI enclosure features a blue trim and is categorized as Type 4, with dimensions of 400x500x120mm. Designed for corrosive indoor or outdoor environments, this stylish enclosure is intended to contain stray electromagnetic interference (EMI) signals produced by internal components and shield those components from external EMI/RFI interference. The enclosure is manufactured from durable 18, 16, and 14 gauge Type 304 stainless steel, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. It features a minimum-width body flange to maximize body opening, an external formed 90-degree body flange, and panel mounting studs compatible with optional Concept panels and other accessories. The back of the body includes mounting holes for direct installation or optional external mounting brackets. Stainless steel hidden hinges and easy-to-remove clip-style hinge pins facilitate access, while a removable corner-formed door, seamless foam-in-place gasket adjacent to a spring finger EMC gasket, and quarter-turn latches with a flush slotted insert ensure security and protection. The self-grounding latch system includes a double seal and an integral body grounding stud. The furnished hardware kit comprises panel mounting nuts, grounding hardware, sealing washers for wall-mounting holes, and installation instructions.
