The Hoffman CP253512 Concept™ HMI enclosure features black extrusions and is classified as Type 4, with dimensions of 250x350x120mm, designed for use in both indoor and outdoor corrosive environments that require a water-tight seal. This enclosure is constructed from 14-gauge Type 304 or Type 316L stainless steel with continuously welded and ground smooth seams, ensuring durability and reliability. It includes a seamless foam-in-place gasket and screw-down clamps to provide a secure seal against contaminants. The enclosure design incorporates a rolled lip around three sides of the door, a stainless steel door clamp assembly, and a hasp and staple for padlocking. The door can be easily removed by pulling out the stainless steel continuous hinge pin. Additionally, the enclosure includes a high-impact thermoplastic data pocket, collar studs for mounting optional panels, and exterior hardware that matches the enclosure material in Type 316L stainless steel. It also features a bonding provision on the door and a grounding stud on the body for added safety.
