The Hoffman A24H2006SSLP is a continuous hinge enclosure with clamps, designed for type 4X applications, measuring 24.00x20.00x6.00 inches and constructed from stainless steel type 304. This Watershed™ stainless steel free-standing enclosure is ideal for mounting electrical or advanced electronic equipment in both indoor and outdoor environments, particularly in sanitary washdown production settings such as food, beverage, or pharmaceutical processing, as well as in petrochemical plants, pulp and paper facilities, and wastewater treatment plants. Key features include 12 gauge type 304 stainless steel construction with continuously welded and ground seams, smooth lift-off bullet-style hinges that are shielded by cover edges, and provisions for direct flushing of the hinge area. The enclosure has a 20-degree sloped top to facilitate runoff and prevent object placement, along with a 170-degree door opening that features sloped edges for runoff. A slanted flange trough collar prevents fluid pooling, and a three-point latching mechanism is operated by Powerglide® type 316L padlocking stainless steel handles. The seamless foam-in-place one-piece gasket ensures an oil-tight and dust-tight seal against contaminants, with bonding provisions on doors and grounding studs on the body. Additional attributes include an accessory mounting channel in the enclosure top, compatibility with optional NEMA style panels, and mounting holes in the bottom for direct mounting or optional sanitary legs and stainless steel floor stands. The furnished hardware kit includes panel mounting nuts, grounding hardware, and hole seals for mounting holes.
