The Hoffman CSD36248SS Concept™ Wall Mount Enclosure is a Type 4X-rated enclosure designed for both indoor and outdoor use in corrosive environments, measuring 36.00 x 24.00 x 8.00 inches. Constructed from 14 gauge Type 304 or Type 316L stainless steel, it features continuously welded seams that are ground smooth for enhanced durability. The enclosure is equipped with a seamless foam-in-place gasket and screw-down clamps to ensure a secure seal against contaminants. Additional attributes include a rolled lip around three sides of the door, a stainless steel door clamp assembly, and a hasp and staple for padlocking. The door can be easily removed by pulling the stainless steel continuous hinge pin. A high-impact thermoplastic data pocket is included, along with collar studs for mounting optional panels. The exterior hardware on Type 316L stainless steel enclosures matches the enclosure material, while a bonding provision on the door and a grounding stud on the body enhance safety and compliance.
