The largest-sized QLINE™ enclosure, QLINE I, is designed to provide easy access and protection for larger controls in corrosive environments. This enclosure features options such as screw cover, hinge, internal mounting, variable depth, and quick-release latch to cater to various design and security requirements. The ABS series mirrors the features and physical properties of polycarbonate but serves as a more economical, non-UL rated alternative. The screw cover enclosures come with easy-to-remove covers that are attached to the body using strong, durable polyamide cross-point cover screws. Quick-release latch enclosures are equipped with polycarbonate hinges and polyester latches that include a padlock provision. Key attributes include impact-resistant polycarbonate for the PCI series and ABS for the ABI series, opaque and clear covers made of impact-resistant polycarbonate for PCI, and ABS for ABI. The materials allow for easy punching, drilling, filing, or sawing, while mounting holes are directly molded under cover screws. Additional features include molded internal pads for mounting optional panels, rails, and other components, as well as molded internal rails for an adjustable-depth panel kit. Screws are provided for optional panel mounting, and optional extension rings are made of molded polycarbonate. The cover also contains a molded-in hole for wire leads, and a seamless foam-in-place gasket ensures a water-tight and dust-tight seal. Notably, the material used is halogen-free.
