The Model KNL2 lab coat is constructed from NOMEX® IIIA with a weight of 6 oz. and features a royal blue color, button-front closure, lapel collar, hemmed sleeve ends, and side vent openings. This flame-resistant garment is designed to meet several stringent standards, including the NFPA 2112 standard on flame-resistant garments for protection of industrial personnel against flash fire (2012 edition), EN ISO 11612:2008 for protective clothing against heat and flame, EN 340:2003 which outlines general requirements for protective clothing, IEC 61482-2:2009 regarding protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc, and EN 1149-5:2008 that defines the electrostatic properties of protective clothing part 5: performance requirements.
