Small-volume purging/pressurization systems are designed as an alternative to NEMA Type 7 or 9 enclosures. The C1 model accommodates general-purpose enclosures of up to two cubic feet for specific Class 1 hazardous locations, while the C2 model is suitable for general-purpose enclosures of up to 10 cubic feet in certain Class 2 hazardous locations. Key features include a universal mount, a mounting plate made of Type 316 brushed stainless steel, a regulator body composed of zinc with an enamel finish, and an enclosure pressure gauge constructed from aluminum with an enamel finish. Additionally, a polycarbonate regulator handle is provided, with fastener hardware available in both aluminum and stainless steel. The kit also includes a tamper-proof regulator with gauge (TR-10G) to comply with NFPA standards requiring protection against over-pressurization. The system is certified for use in hazardous environments and ensures compliance with applicable regulations.
