The absorbent socks are made with 70% recycled cellulose fiber and measure 4 feet in length, providing excellent moldability that allows them to wrap around the bases of machines or the perimeters of spills effectively. These general-purpose absorbent socks are suitable for absorbing both water and oil-based fluids, including diesel fuel, transmission fluid, hydraulic fluid, coolants, grease, and paint, making them ideal for preventing leaks, drips, or spills from machinery that could pose safety hazards. They feature an extremely durable hydrophilic sleeve that retains the absorbent fibers while allowing fluids to pass through easily. The product is made in the USA and comes with a caution that it is not intended for use with aggressive acids or caustics. Additionally, all sorbent materials must be disposed of in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
