The HDF board is a high-density fiberboard designed for commercial-grade pegboard use, offering a cost-effective and decorative solution for situations requiring sturdier pegboards. It serves as an ideal organization and storage solution for areas such as garages, sheds, laundry rooms, utility rooms, craft rooms, bedrooms, and closets. Unlike conventional pegboards made from layers of glued cardboard, this commercial-grade construction resists drying out, warping, cracking, or fraying, even under extreme fluctuations in temperature and humidity, ensuring the integrity of the finish is maintained. HDF, being a denser, stronger, and harder wood product than MDF, is recommended for use with Durahook 70000 series locking pegboard hooks and accessories. The board is available in three colors: black, white, and natural.
