The 10-1/2" wide London blade of this masonry trowel is designed to efficiently carry mortar towards the toe of the blade, away from the handle, with its wide blade allowing for a larger mortar capacity, making it ideal for stonework and block applications. Both the blade and shank are forged from a single piece of uniquely formulated carbon steel, ensuring extra toughness and product consistency. The blades undergo a heat tempering process to achieve uniform hardness, while the tapered ground blade enhances flexibility. The forged steel construction provides strength and integrity without internal voids, as welds could create weaknesses. Each blade is hand polished to keep mortar centered and resist sliding, and the standard shank angle is engineered to reduce wrist fatigue.
