The Silverline was developed as a cost-effective alternative to the Goldline while maintaining a high level of quality, rated at 9 out of 10 compared to the Goldline's 10 out of 10. The Silverline outperforms and outlasts competitors like Diebold and has rapidly grown to account for over 50% of Fenco's undercounter sales. The only difference between the Silverline and the Goldline is in the exterior shell construction specifications and width; the Silverline's shell is always 1" wider and uses 20 gauge steel for the exterior, while the Goldline uses 18 gauge steel. The Silverline features corners that are folded and spot-welded for a clean finish, contrasting with the Goldline's TIG welded construction that provides a flush and smooth finish. Despite these differences in shell construction, all internal components such as separating shelves, slides, drawers, doors, and locks are identical in both lines, which are both all-welded, all-steel products without pop rivets or plastic drawer bodies. The Silverline also offers options for mobile conversion, additional colors, locks, and height alterations, providing versatility for various needs.
