The Silverline has been developed as a lower-cost alternative to the Goldline, maintaining a high level of quality that is comparable to the Goldline, which is rated a 10 out of 10, while the Silverline is rated a 9 out of 10. The Silverline outperforms and outlasts competitors like Diebold undercounter models and has gained significant popularity, accounting for over 50% of Fenco's undercounter sales. The only difference between the Silverline and Goldline lies in the exterior shell construction and width—the Silverline shell is always 1" wider than the Goldline, constructed from 20 gauge steel compared to the Goldline's 18 gauge. The Silverline features folded and bent corners for a clean finish, with thoroughly spot-welded corners to secure the shell. In contrast, the Goldline utilizes TIG welding for a flush and smooth finish. Despite these differences in shell construction, all internal materials and components, such as the separating shelf, slides, drawers, doors, and locks, are identical between the two lines. Both the Silverline and Goldline are fully welded, all-steel constructions, eliminating the use of pop rivets and plastic drawer bodies.
