The Extech MO280 Pinless Moisture Meter is a rechargeable, non-invasive device designed for accurately measuring moisture content in wood and other building materials with virtually no surface damage. It utilizes electro-magnetic technology to quickly indicate moisture content and allows the user to select from 10 wood types and corresponding measurement ranges. The LCD displays the percentage moisture of the wood or material being tested, with a measurement depth capability of up to 0.75 inches (22 mm) below the surface. Additional features include an automatic internal test and calibration function, along with low battery indication. The kit includes the moisture meter, a 9V battery, and a pouch case. The product is backed by a warranty covering any defects in materials or workmanship.
