The kit is designed for fast, easy, and simple operation, featuring a compact design suitable for field use on construction sites and maintenance jobs. It is capable of punching 10 times faster than the wrench method and can also drive the 751 cable cutter head. The unit is compatible with most standard round Slug-Buster and Slug-Splitter SC punches, except for sizes 1/2 in, 9/16 in, and 5/8 in, and can additionally be used with non-round punches with an adapter (may be required). The package includes a 3-foot hose and a powerful 11-ton hydraulic ram, along with the following components: 1429AV 2-1/2" conduit size punch (hole size: 2-7/8"), 1430AV 2-1/2" conduit size die (hole size: 2-7/8"), 1431AV 3" conduit size punch (hole size: 3-1/2"), 1432AV 3" conduit size die (hole size: 3-1/2"), 2982AV 3-1/2" conduit size punch (hole size: 4"), 2981AV 3-1/2" conduit size die (hole size: 4"), 2984AV 4" conduit size punch (hole size: 4-1/2"), and 2983AV 4" conduit size die (hole size: 4-1/2"). The entire kit is housed in a plastic case (30236).
