Column Sentry® is the original, premium, patented column protector from Sentry Protection Products, designed for heavy-duty applications. This robust column protector has been tested with a 10,000 lb. capacity forklift traveling at 7 mph, demonstrating an 83% increase in impact resistance compared to other column protectors. It features a patented air chamber system that deflects impact energy away from the column, significantly minimizing the force of the impact. Molded from semi-flexible, stress-crack resistant, low-density polyethylene plastic, Column Sentry® is available in various sizes to accommodate most columns, with custom configurations available upon request. Installation is straightforward with hook and loop straps, and the unit is finished in high visibility safety yellow. The standard height is 42 inches, and the Column Sentry® is stackable for enhanced protection at greater heights. It is chemical resistant, non-conductive, waterproof, easy to clean, and removable for maintenance. The Small Column Sentry®, model CS1442-6S, is specifically designed to encase square, round, or H-columns up to 6"x6" (150x150mm) in size, featuring an outside diameter of 14" (356mm), making it ideal for mezzanines, conveyors, or other confined spaces.
