The kit is made of plastic, designed for long-lasting durability of 25 or more years, and is maintenance-free with no mechanical or electrical power source required. It can be surface mounted or installed from ceilings. The photo luminescent signs absorb and store energy from ambient fluorescent light, making them visible in dark or emergency power outage situations. The product is UL 924 listed through UL and meets NFPA Life Safety Code 101, as well as OSHA requirements. It complies with current building codes, including IBC, ICBO, BOCA, SBCCI, and NFPA. The dimensions of the sign are 13" W x 7-1/2" H, and it is available in red. Additional sign quantities are also available.
