These signs operate without the need for a mechanical or electrical power source, as they absorb and store energy from ambient light, allowing them to glow in the dark and be immediately visible during sudden blackout conditions. They illuminate for over six hours after just a five-minute recharge. These signs comply with 29 CFR requirements and the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and are constructed with a flexible .004 mil thick surface featuring a pressure-sensitive permanent adhesive backing, facilitating fast and easy peel-off and application.
