The SR48UBWD is a wide version of the standard 48U SmartRack, measuring 750mm wide (30") compared to the standard 600mm wide (23.6"), allowing for high-density equipment installations and enabling cable management and PDU mounting off to the sides of the rack to maintain proper cooling airflow. It features a significant front-to-rear ventilation capacity that meets or exceeds server manufacturer specifications and includes integrated baying tabs for easy combination of multiple enclosures in rows for data center applications, while also being compatible with hot-aisle/cold-aisle configurations. The enclosure accommodates 3000 lb of standard 19-inch rack equipment in 48U, with adjustable front and rear vertical rails featuring square mounting holes that can be adjusted in quarter-inch increments from 4 to 37 inches. Each rack space is numbered for quick reference. Additionally, two adjustable vertical mounting rails support toolless button-mount 0U installation of up to four compatible PDUs and cable managers, simplifying cabling routes and reducing clutter. The locking, reversible, removable front and rear doors, along with locking, removable half-size side panels, enhance equipment safety, and the split rear door design allows for closer placement to walls. The enclosure meets all requirements for PCI DSS compliance. The vented top panel aids in removing warm air and drawing in cool air by convection, with ports for cable routing and tool-free removal. The open-bottom design facilitates cable access, and all components are grounded to the enclosure frame.
