Tripp Lite's U360-007 USB 3.0 hub is designed to connect to a computer's USB 3.0 port, offering seven USB 3.0 Superspeed peripheral ports along with USB charging capabilities. This hub supports transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps when connected to a USB 3.0 computer and peripheral, with each USB-A port delivering up to 5V and 2.4A, in compliance with the USB Battery Charging (BC) Specification V1.2. The included external power supply provides 12V at 2A to be shared across the hub's ports, ensuring efficient power delivery. It features plug-and-play functionality, requiring no software or drivers, and is compatible with both Windows (including Windows 10) and Mac systems. Additional features include overcurrent protection and an LED power indicator light. System requirements include a computer with an available USB 3.0 port and USB peripherals that are backward compatible with previous USB generations. Only the supplied external power supply should be used with the hub, which has been updated to a 12V 2A power supply starting in the fall of 2015, replacing the previous 5V 4A power supply. The power specification under the DC jack on the hub will correspond to the specification of the included power supply.
