Justrite® Safety Can Type I is a 2-gallon galvanized steel can designed with a self-close lid and a single spout for filling and pouring. The sealed lid features an automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3 and 5 PSIG (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to guard against rupture or explosion. Constructed from high-grade coated steel, each can is tested to ensure 100% leakproof construction. The durable powder-coat finish resists chemicals and withstands the demands of rigorous use. Each safety can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester that dissipates heat to prevent flashback ignition. Cans up to 1 quart (1 L) have a trigger-release handle, while larger capacities feature a swinging handle for easier carrying of heavier loads. The large label ID zone on swing-handle cans provides writing space for identifying contents, department location, or individual user names. Justrite safety cans are certified by UL/ULC and TUV, meet OSHA and NFPA requirements, and come with a ten-year warranty. Common color choices include red for flammable liquids, blue for kerosene, yellow for diesel fuel, and green for oils.
