Justrite's patented manifold and proportional flow-control Safe-Squeeze® trigger allows regulation of the flow rate when handling flammable liquids. The can includes a fill port with an ergonomic lift lever for easy filling, and a flexible 9" (229-mm) long metal hose spout that helps control the pour into small openings. Constructed from high-grade coated steel, each can is pressure tested to ensure quality, while a tough powder-coat finish resists chemicals and withstands the demands of rigorous use. All Justrite safety cans are equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester that dissipates heat to stop flashback ignition, and the sealed lid features automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to protect against explosion. The large label ID zone provides writing space to clearly identify contents, department location, or individual user name, and all can sizes have extra capacity for adding two-cycle engine oil or other additives. The easy-to-fill ergonomic lift lever enables the self-closing spout to open wide for convenient filling. Justrite's Type II AccuFlow™ safety cans are available in several colors for the storage of flammable liquids, aiding in the identification of specific liquids and reducing the risk of costly errors at the worksite. For certification, these safety cans are certified by UL/ULC and TÜV, meeting OSHA and NFPA requirements, and come with a ten-year warranty. Common color designations include red cans for the storage of flammable liquids, blue for kerosene, yellow for diesel fuel, and green for oils.
