The eFlex™ MM-840 from Carson® is a powerful digital microscope that displays a magnified image directly on your computer screen, offering an impressive 75x or 300x power magnification to reveal details of ordinary objects. Users can capture images or record close-focus video with a simple button click. The kit includes a flexible neck stand (8-1/2 inches at its tallest point) with a suction cup adapter for easy attachment to any smooth surface, as well as a graduated base that displays measurements in inches and centimeters. The eFlex™ features an adjustable LED lighting knob to control the brightness of the four included LED lights and a focusing knob to ensure sharp and clear images. It is compatible with Windows XP SP2 or above, Windows Vista (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit), Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Mac OSX 10.4.9 or later, requiring USB 2.0 for connectivity. The microscope is powered directly from the USB port of your computer, eliminating the need for batteries. The assembled item dimensions are 8.0 inches (L) x 5.75 inches (W) x 8.5 inches (H), while the individual microscope dimensions are 1.25 inches (L) x 1.1 inches (W) x 3.45 inches (H).
