The Justrite® safety can is designed with a single spout for filling and pouring, featuring a sealed lid that includes automatic positive-pressure relief venting between 3 and 5 PSIG (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to prevent rupture or explosion. Constructed from high-grade coated steel, each can is rigorously tested to ensure 100% leakproof construction. The durable powder-coat finish is resistant to chemicals and suitable for demanding use. Each safety can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester that dissipates heat, preventing flashback ignition. Cans up to 1 quart (1 L) include a trigger-release handle, while larger capacities have a swinging handle to facilitate the carrying of heavier loads. The swing-handle cans also feature a large label ID zone for identifying contents, department location, or individual user names. Justrite® safety cans are certified by UL/ULC and TUV, comply with OSHA and NFPA requirements, and come with a ten-year warranty. Color coding is used to help avoid accidents, with common choices being red for flammable liquids like gasoline, blue for kerosene, yellow for diesel fuel, and green for oils.
