Justrite® Type I steel safety can with funnel is designed to hold 2.5 gallons (9.5 liters) and features a self-closing lid in blue, model number 7125310. This safety can includes a single spout for filling and pouring, and the sealed lid is equipped with automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to prevent rupture or explosion. Constructed from high-grade coated steel, each can is rigorously tested to ensure 100% leakproof performance. The durable powder-coat finish is resistant to chemicals and suitable for demanding applications. Each can is fitted with a stainless steel flame arrester to dissipate heat and prevent flashback ignition. Cans with a capacity of up to 1 quart (1 liter) feature a trigger-release handle, while larger capacities come with a swinging handle for easier transport of heavier loads. Additionally, the large label ID zone on swing-handle cans provides ample writing space for identifying contents, department location, or user name. Justrite® safety cans are certified by FM, UL/ULC, and TUV, comply with OSHA and NFPA standards, and are backed by a ten-year warranty. For safety and organization, color coding is used to indicate the type of liquid stored: red for flammable liquids such as gasoline, blue for kerosene, yellow for diesel fuel, and green for oils.
