The Justrite® Type I steel safety can with funnel is designed to hold 2.5 gallons (9.5 liters) and features a self-close lid with a single spout for filling and pouring. The sealed lid has an automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3 and 5 PSIG (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to prevent rupture or explosion. Constructed from high-grade coated steel, each can is tested to ensure 100% leakproof construction and is finished with a tough powder-coat that resists chemicals and withstands rigorous use. The safety can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester that dissipates heat to stop flashback ignition. Cans with a capacity of up to 1 quart (1 liter) include a trigger-release handle, while larger capacities feature a swinging handle for easier carrying of heavier loads. Additionally, the swing-handle cans provide a large label ID zone to identify contents, department location, or individual user name. Justrite® safety cans are certified by FM, UL/ULC, and TUV, and comply with OSHA and NFPA requirements. They come with a ten-year warranty. The color coding of the cans helps to avoid accidents, with common colors like red for flammable liquids, blue for kerosene, yellow for diesel fuel, and green for oils.
