The Justrite® Type I steel safety can, with a capacity of 2.5 gallons (9.5L), features a self-close lid and is designed with a single spout for efficient filling and pouring. The sealed lid is equipped with automatic positive-pressure relief, which vents between 3 and 5 PSIG (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to prevent rupture or explosion. Constructed from high-grade coated steel, this safety can is rigorously tested to ensure 100% leakproof performance. The durable powder-coat finish is resistant to chemicals and suitable for heavy-duty usage. Each can includes a stainless steel flame arrester that dissipates heat to prevent flashback ignition. For ease of use, cans up to 1 quart (1 L) come with a trigger-release handle, while larger sizes have a swinging handle for easier carrying. The swing-handle cans also feature a large label ID zone for identifying contents, departmental location, or user names.
