The Justrite® safety can is designed with a single spout for filling and pouring, featuring a sealed lid with automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3 and 5 PSIG (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to protect against rupture or explosion. Constructed from high-grade coated steel, each can is rigorously tested to ensure 100% leakproof construction, and the tough powder-coat finish resists chemicals, making it suitable for rigorous use. Each safety can is equipped with a stainless steel flame arrester to dissipate heat and prevent flashback ignition. Cans up to 1 quart (1 L) come with a trigger-release handle, while larger capacities are equipped with a swinging handle for ease in carrying heavier loads. The large label ID zone on swing-handle cans provides ample writing space to identify contents, departmental location, or user name. Justrite® safety cans are certified by FM, UL/ULC, and TUV, and comply with OSHA and NFPA requirements, and they feature a ten-year warranty. Color coding is utilized to reduce the risk of accidents, with common color choices including red for flammable liquids, blue for kerosene, yellow for diesel fuel, and green for oils.
