3M™ lapping film 266X measures 8-1/2" x 11" and features an aluminum oxide mineral coating on a 3 mil polyester film with a durable resin system and PSA backing. The film is available in 7 grades ranging from 0.05 to 60.0 micron. It is commonly used for fiber optic connector polishing, flat lapping, hard disc drive lube buff, media head finishing, and superfinishing. Typical applications include fiber optic finishing and roll superfinishing processes. This product is widely utilized in the electronics industry.
