The Action Pump Food Grade Hand Barrel Pump EZ-550 features a durable orange strap and is designed for the dispensing of viscous fluids, harsh acids, and alkali cleaning chemicals. Utilizing a unique patented pumping principle, it has no wearing parts and dispenses 15 ounces on each up and down stroke. Constructed from polypropylene and polyethylene, this pump is resistant to a wide range of acids, alkaline, caustic, and chlorine-based chemicals. It is compatible with oils, crop chemicals, diesel, and liquid fertilizers, but it should not be used with strong solvents or highly flammable liquids, including petrol (gasoline). The pump offers high volume delivery at low pressure, enhancing safety when pumping chemicals. Its double-action capability allows for delivery on both the up and down strokes, totaling 30 strokes. It can dispense fluids with viscosity up to 8800 centipoise and is suitable for use with 15, 30, and 55-gallon drums.
