The 3M™ Microfinishing Film Roll 372L measures 8 inches by 150 feet with a 3-inch core and features a 60 micron grit. It is made of an aluminum oxide micron roll resin bonded to a 5 mil polyester film backing, which includes a friction grip coating for slip resistance. This high-strength film backing combined with micron-graded aluminum oxide mineral provides precise, uniform, close-tolerance finishes, making it suitable for precision finishing of cylindrical surfaces such as automotive camshafts and crankshafts. The roll offers fast cutting performance and comes in a long length. Its typical applications include fine finishing, powertrain microfinishing, and superfinishing.
