The 3M™ Microfinishing Film Roll 362L measures 4 inches by 150 feet with a 3-inch core and features a 40-micron aluminum oxide grit. It is a fast-cutting abrasive designed for precise, uniform, close-tolerance finishes, utilizing a high-strength polyester film backing that is resin-bonded for durability. This film is suitable for use on metal, plastic, paint spot repair, automotive powertrain components, and roll superfinishing, with a precision micron-grade aluminum oxide, load-resistant free-cut coating effective on fiberglass, wood, metals, and solid surfaces. Typical applications include centerless and cylindrical grinding, finishing, powertrain microfinishing, and superfinishing in industries such as AOEM, general industrial, precision grinding and finishing, transportation, and heavy equipment.
