The Protekt™ 100 pressure redistribution foam mattress features a 3" raised rail design and measures 76" in length (model 81014). It incorporates three unique pressure zones created with channel cut high-density polyurethane foam, comprising 670 individual cells that provide superior pressure redistribution. The foam core is fire-retardant and anti-microbial/anti-bacterial. The top cover is anti-microbial and anti-fungal with low moisture vapor transmission (MVTR) and is fluid resistant, conforming to NFPA 702 class 1 and TB 117E standards. A 360-degree zipper allows for easy removal for cleaning or replacement, while the PTSS rail system (Patient Transfer Support System) on the side rails provides firm support for safe and easy patient egress and ingress from the bed. An anti-contamination flap covers the zipper, reducing the risk of contaminating the foam core. The bottom cover is made from triple laminate vinyl that is fluid resistant, anti-microbial/anti-bacterial, and fire retardant. The mattress conforms to fire safety standards outlined in 16 CFR part 1632 & 1633 and NFPA 702 class 1, with a weight capacity of 300 lbs. It comes with a 4-year, non-prorated warranty.
