Model M-75-BD4 is a post hydrant designed for year-round use in freezing or inclement weather, featuring a 4-foot depth of bury that ensures the centerline of the supply inlet is positioned at or below the frost line. This freeze-resistant unit includes a union connection for the inlet, and is constructed from heavy, one-piece iron castings with a durable, oil-based green enamel finish for the stock, top, and base. The inner supply assembly is comprised of solid-brass castings, and the nozzle is a solid brass casting with a threaded 3/4" hose connection. The handle is also made from one-piece iron casting, ensuring robust operation with a turn-handle valve. Water is gravity-evacuated from the inner supply column when the valve is shut off, and all waterways utilize lead-free castings. Additionally, all solid-brass castings comply with ASTM standards B61 and B62.
