The new Solaira Alpha Series electric infrared heaters incorporate advanced engineered short wave heating technology, converting 92% of consumed energy into instant, controllable, directional heat, unaffected by wind or drafts as they warm people, objects, and surfaces rather than the air. The heaters feature a powder-coated aircraft aluminum body, complete with mounting brackets and stainless steel mounting hardware, and are rated for both indoor and outdoor use in wet or dry conditions. Their modular design allows for tailored heat load requirements and they are engineered for both wall and overhead mounting (chain not included). The units boast a 92% energy conversion efficiency with no CO2 or NOx emissions and are certified to CCSAUS, ANSI/UL 1278, UL 2021, ANSI/UL 875, and ANSI/UL 834. With a wall mount length of 164 mm (6.5 in), aluminum construction, and a gray powder coat finish, the heaters include 6.5' (2m) of outdoor-rated cable for hardwire applications with a minimum mounting height of 79 inches. Designed for all weather conditions, they are suitable for commercial and residential use as well as high bay and multi-mount applications, and they come with a 3-year limited warranty.
