The KNIPEX 97 53 09 crimping pliers feature a self-adjusting mechanism and a comfort grip with an overall length of 7-1/2 inches, designed for crimping end sleeves (ferrules) according to DIN 46228 parts 1 and 4. The tool automatically adapts to the desired wire end sleeve ferrule size, preventing crimping faults caused by using the wrong die. It allows front loading of the end sleeves into the tool and ensures repetitive, high-quality crimps due to an integral lock with a self-releasing mechanism. The crimping pressure is precisely set and calibrated at the factory for consistent performance.
