BSC Preferred's™ Series 2-Way Yoke Mount Portable Cooling is designed for personnel or processes, featuring heavy-duty construction suitable for demanding industrial locations such as steel mills, foundries, factories, and warehouses. The unit swivels 180° on a horizontal axis and 360° on a vertical axis, equipped with front and rear OSHA style concentric circle wire guards on all sizes except the 60" model, which utilizes 1/2" wire mesh. It comes standard with rugged spark-resistant cast aluminum propellers and industrial-grade TEFC motors, with explosion-proof motors available for hazardous locations. All models feature cord wiring connected to the motor, extended through the fan housing, except for explosion-proof fans. Optional accessories include manual starting switches with built-in overload protection, exclusively mounted and wired for fans with TEFC motors, as well as coatings for outdoor service or harsh environments and fabricated steel propellers.
