The step stool is constructed of lightweight, linear low-density polyethylene with a durable design that is rust-proof and impervious to chemicals. It features a rounded side hand slot for easy lifting, an abrasive non-slip surface on the steps, and rubber feet to help prevent sliding. The step stands begin to lose stiffness and become soft at 180°F and melt at 330°F, with a 500 lb. capacity. It is FDA/USDA approved and has a gray finish. The height from the floor to the first step is 9-5/8", from the first step to the second step is 9-1/2", from the second step to the third step is 9-1/2", and the height from the floor to the top step is 28-5/8".
