The CM® Forged Ring Skidding Tong 40225 features a minimum opening of 4-1/2 inches and a maximum opening of 25 inches, designed specifically to grab and hold poles and logs for skidding and dragging operations. The logger tongs are forged from alloy steel by Dixie Industries, ensuring maximum strength and durability, and are ideal for tree-length logging. The points are finely ground to maintain long-lasting sharpness and are shaped to facilitate easy hooking and unhooking while assuring holding strength. The unique design incorporates additional material at stress points for enhanced durability, and the tong is supported by a heat-treated ring attached by shackles. It is important to note that these tongs are not for overhead lifting; only lifting tongs should be used for that purpose. The product is painted red with blue points and is made in the U.S.A.
