The assembly is designed for installation on indoor and outdoor point of use applications to protect against backsiphonage of contaminated water into the water supply. It features a separate diaphragm that seals the air inlet from the water supply during start-up and operation, preventing spillage. This product is built for use under constant pressure and provides protection in scenarios where a potential health hazard exists. It complies with several standards, being ASSE® listed 1056, IAPMO® listed, CSA® certified, and approved by the Foundation for Cross Connection Control and Hydraulic Research at the University of Southern California. Additionally, it is NSF® listed under Standard 61, Annex G, and certified to NSF/ANSI 372 by IAPMO R&T.
