The 3M™ 4008 double sided foam tape measures 1/2" x 5 yards with a thickness of 1/8" and is made from natural open cell polyurethane foam. This premium grade tape features a firm acrylic adhesive that provides high bond strength along with high temperature and solvent resistance. It is designed to fill gaps on irregular surfaces, distribute stress, seal, cushion, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. The conformable foam has high shear strength, making it suitable for many indoor applications or exterior applications where the tape will be protected from the environment. The ideal temperature range for this tape is 70° to 100° F.
