The 3M™ 4926 double sided VHB™ acrylic foam tape measures 1/2" x 5 yards with a thickness of 15 mil and is gray in color, supplied as one roll. It features a super strong VHB tape that offers the simplicity of a tape fastener with incredible strength, often replacing rivets, bolts, screws, spot welds, liquid adhesives, and other permanent fasteners. This tape is used to bond mullion bars to windows, bond pre-painted metals in truck assembly, and mount vinyl wiring ducts and conduit channels. It has a multi-purpose adhesive on both sides of conformable foam, providing excellent bonding to relatively irregular surfaces and mixed substrates, with excellent adhesion to metal, glass, and a wide variety of plastics. The tape is moisture, solvent, and UV resistant, and operates within a temperature range of -40° to 200°F. It includes a kraft paper liner, dark gray acrylic foam with an acrylic adhesive, and meets UL746C certification. The product comes with a warranty as specified by 3M.
