The 3M™ 4004 double-sided foam tape measures 1/2" x 5 yds and is 1/4" thick, designed to effectively fill gaps on irregular surfaces, distribute stress, seal, cushion, dampen vibrations, and resist impact. This tape consists of premium-grade 1/4" open cell polyurethane foam with a firm acrylic adhesive, making it suitable for various indoor applications as well as exterior uses where the tape is shielded from environmental factors. The acrylic adhesive provides high bond strength and offers resistance to high temperatures and solvents, while the conformable foam features high shear strength. The ideal operating temperature range for this product is between 70° - 100° F.
