The 3M™ 5952 double sided VHB™ acrylic foam tape measures 3/4" wide by 5 yards long with a thickness of 45 mil and is dark gray in color, provided as a single roll. This super strong VHB™ tape offers the simplicity of a tape fastener with incredible strength, often replacing rivets, bolts, screws, spot welds, liquid adhesives, and other permanent fasteners. It is designed for bonding to a variety of plastics and paint systems, featuring multi-purpose adhesive on both sides of a conformable foam backing that provides excellent bonding to relatively irregular surfaces and mixed substrates. The tape demonstrates excellent adhesion to metal, glass, and a wide variety of plastics, and it is resistant to moisture, solvents, and UV exposure. Its operating temperature range spans from -40° to 250° F. The construction includes a red polyethylene liner and black foam with an acrylic adhesive. This product complies with UL746C standards and includes a limited warranty as specified by 3M.
