The 3M™ 4941 double sided VHB™ acrylic foam tape measures 1 inch by 5 yards with a thickness of 45 mil and is gray in color, provided as one roll. This super strong VHB™ tape offers the simplicity of a tape fastener combined with incredible strength, often replacing rivets, bolts, screws, spot welds, liquid adhesives, and other permanent fasteners. It is suitable for bonding mute bars to windows, pre-painted metals in truck assembly, and for mounting vinyl wiring ducts and conduit channels. The tape features a multi-purpose adhesive on both sides of conformable foam that provides excellent bonding to relatively irregular surfaces and mixed substrates. It exhibits excellent adhesion to metal, glass, and a wide variety of plastics, and is moisture, solvent, and UV resistant. The temperature range for this tape is from -40° to 200° Fahrenheit. The construction includes a kraft paper liner and dark gray acrylic foam with an acrylic adhesive. This product complies with UL746C standards.
