The Through-the-wall locking drop box is designed to fit walls with a thickness ranging from 4" to 10". It features a tubular-style key lock with a double "D" configuration and includes two tubular keys. The drop box has a piano hinge and a drop door opening that accommodates items such as keys, wallets, car remotes, and thick envelopes, with a drop clearance of 1". Additionally, it is equipped with a metal baffle to protect the drop opening from fishing attempts and comes with pre-drilled mounting holes for in-the-wall installation, along with installation hardware. The drop box has a reinforced double steel door that guards against prying, allowing for secure storage of cash, keys, mail, and small envelopes. Items can be dropped from one side and collected from the opposite side, and it is designed for installation between standard (16" on center) wall studs, requiring drywall cutting between the studs. The kit includes two removable and adjustable metal frames to conceal rough cuts.
