The Rx-164 Protex prescription drugs drop box is designed for use in police stations, hospitals, pharmacies, fire stations, and more. This heavy-duty drop box is specifically built for the secure disposal of pills, prescriptions, and other unwanted medication containers. It features a tubular-style key lock with a double "D" configuration, which can be retrofitted with other cam locks, and a piano hinge for easy access. The drop door opening is thick enough to accommodate items up to 2-1/4" in diameter, and a metal baffle protects the drop opening from attempts at fishing. The unit comes with pre-drilled mounting holes for wall installation and can also be set on a table or shelf, with mounting hardware for wood and concrete included. Two tubular keys and a reinforced double steel door enhance security against prying. The Rx-label is unattached for customizable applications.
