Protex's drop boxes are designed for ease of use and are suitable for convenient stores, hotels, churches, gas stations, car washes, restaurants, and more. The drop box features a 1/2" solid steel hinge/dead bar to prevent door removal, a saw-toothed baffle to protect the slot, and a robust 1/8" welded steel structure. It utilizes dual tubular-style key locks with a double "D" configuration, which can be retrofitted with other cam locks, and comes with two keys per lock. The drop box has a powder-coated grey finish and includes anchoring hardware along with four pre-drilled anchoring holes at the bottom. The exterior dimensions are 6" (W) x 6" (H) x 12" (D), with interior dimensions measuring 5-3/4" (W) x 5-3/4" (H) x 11-3/4" (D). The door clearance is 5-1/2" (W) x 3-1/2" (H), and the drop opening is 5-3/4" (W) x 7/16" (H). The door thickness is 1/8", providing a total cubic volume of 388 cubic inches, and the entire unit weighs 11.5 lbs.
